i know bless him. we've been so lucky with him, he's so tuned in with the kids. rufus is too he waits till after 7 till he comes home lol. when the house is nice and quiet kids are asleep and then torments the poor dog.

The dog sitting next to me is Abs. He originally was in the pound in Ireland with his sister at about 8 weeks old. He and his sister then came over to the UK. His sister was rehomed and he went to a foster home before going to a home as a 16 week old pup from us to a home that had been homechecked and reccomended by a bigger GSD rescue.

Turns out that it wasnt a good home. They refused any contact from either us or the original foster mum. We could not get confirmation of neutering either. So we knocked on the door and saw an extremely skinny and stressed dog. We removed Abs immediately. He went to kennels. There he shared with what ended up being his best mate Higgins (staffie x also in pic).

When he first came in he was underweight, full of worms. Mentally he was also a mess. Screaming and howling constantly. When on the lead he would pull like a train, dance in circles and would also scream.

I spent a few weekends with him and these pics were taken when he was ready for his new home again.

He is now in his forever home - back with his sister Delilah Very Happy

Why do people treat their animals like that Why

I still can't understand it my Pets are my babies and part of my family I would rather starve then let any of mine go hungry. They didn't ask to live with me I got them so therefore they are my responsibility.why don't other people think like that instead of treating their animals really badly and putting them on sites like freecylce throwing them away like some old sofa Very Angry
