A really lovely old boy who obviously hasn’t had much love and affection in his long life. It’s time he got a forever home who loved him to bits and could make up for all the years he’s been starved of love and affection. He was rescued from a dog pound where he would have been put to sleep if we hadn’t have stepped in. We are certain we can find this old boy someone to love him for his twilight years. Colonel just wanted to be held, loved and cuddled. A really poorly boy who doesn’t deserve to be in kennels. We won’t rehome him until he’s 100 percent fit and healthy again but please don’t leave him stuck in kennels for any longer than this poor boy needs to be as he’s so lovely. Colonel must be rehomed as the only dog.

Hazel is a beautiful baby of a dog.
A 6 month old Terrier cross who is totally adorable. She is playful, cute, lovable, energetic and very sweet.

She’s good on the lead and with other dogs. An easy fit into most homes prepared to give this bag of beans plenty of exercise and some basic training. How can you fail to fall in love with such a beautiful little girl?

Bailey is a 6mth old GSD x Kelpie (?) and we saved him from being put to sleep in a council pound. Sadly as he got very stressed in kennels he attacked and chewed his own tail so he had to have most of it amputated.

We are sisters and have never been apart we would love to be homed together but we would learn to understand if this was not possible. Ice is a lovely 2-3 year old medium to large cross breed boy

Ollie is a two year old beautiful and healthy white Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl. She’s spayed and around two years old. People walk straight past her at the rescue when they find out she’s deaf and it’s so sad that she’s been ignored for so long for something which isn’t her fault. She’s been described as “a very happy little girl who loves to play all day long”. She’s fit and healthy and becoming more obedient having learnt some hand signals. Ollie needs plenty of exercise as she’s such a young, energetic and playful girl and would benefit from further training.

Ollie is a 1-2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier

He has sadly been used for dog fighting in the past and is unfortunately still dog aggressive. He is a lovely affectionate lad but would need to go to a home with comprehensive knowledge and experience of the breed and who are prepared to continue to work to build a trust.

Sam is currently living with Doug

Doug is in our care and requires a home that is prepared to give that “little bit extra” in order to take on their new hairy friend. They have not only come out of the stray pound moments before death but unfortunately, through no fault of their own, have received treatment from their previous owners, that has resulted in them having a range of either physiological or behavioural traits, as well.

Sam is a 2 year old brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross.

These two were handed into the pound by their owners. They are absolutely lovely dogs and have an extremely gentle nature. They can be aggressive with other dogs however. Ideally we would like to find a home for them together but if not we are confident that they will cope fine on their own.

Monty gets on fine with other dogs and kids.
He’s a smashing and playful little boy who would be a fantastic addition to any family. He loves children and gets on with other dogs.

As he’s still such a young dog he does require plenty of exercise as well as someone who has the time to play ball with him. He’s a healthy boy who walks fine on the lead and has good recall. Training on basic commands will need continuing to get the best out of him.

He’s been fully vaccinated and neutered. As he’s such a young boy who has been in our care for several months now he needs someone prepared to continue his training.

Blade is a 2 year old male black and white Labrador crossed with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier

He’s good with kids but is best re homed as the only dog. As with all Staffies he’s friendly, loyal and energetic and would benefit from a home where he gets regular exercise. He is a really lovely boy of small to medium sized with a happy nature and a constantly wagging tail.

The kennels describe him as being easy on the lead with good recall. He was in a new environment on the video so was busy enjoying all the new smells and exploring! An easy fit boy who is easy to handle and a joy to be around.

Detroit is a dog with masses of personality, bags of energy and loves nothing more than a playful wrestle or back scratch with anyone prepared to get onto his level and indulge him.

He gets on well with other dogs and could be rehomed with children although we would recommend older kids purely due to his size and energy levels. A very playful and energetic dog who would benefit from being in a home which can give him plenty of exercise. Detroit does know basic commands but further training would enable you to get the best out of him. A really lovely dog who you couldn’t help but fall in love with.
