So how do you all feel about meeting up since there are so many of us?
I was thinking it would be nice to go up to NCAR and perhaps take a few dogs out for a walk?

Is this different to the Delamere walk this saturday? I won't be able to make it to Delamere, my friend Jenny got 3 rescue battery hens last week...one died within 2 days and another is being a total bully, she needs me to look after her baby while she makes a new chicken house...naughty chicken!
I'm deffo up for walking a few doggies....I used to do that for the dogs trust until I moved too far away
Count me in for sure

Poor little chickens. I do hope that the chickens start behaving themselves

Anyone have any suggestions for me - I am in charge of my friends 18-month old girl (Ruby) on saturday. I was going to take her to the Blue Planet (until I saw the prices)!!
Any good ideas for places to take a wee one for the day? I don't have any ankle-biters yet so not sure where to take her.
Any small wildlife places or somewhere she can interact with animals would be ace

Oh take her to Ty Mawr. Its free and Aaliyah (16 months) LOVES it!!

Or Silly Barts is the other place we go which is like Blue bears (costs £3) I'll find directions if your interested.
I'd come with you but I'm going to llandudno to see my friend.

Ok I was thinking of popping to NCAR in the next 2/3 weeks as I have a friend who wants to go look for a dog there.
I'm afraid my car will be full but I dont know who else is going whether people can get a lift with someone?

Places to take toddlers - depends how far you want to travel but there's always Greenacres Farm Park in Mancot. Its not far from (about 10 mins) Queensferry Asda. Always a firm favourite with my kids and they are now 7 and 9! Have done this in the rain plenty of times. They have entertainment on too in the big eating shed at lunchtimes, undercover petting area where they bring out the lambs, puppies, kittens, ducklings, guinea pigs etc for the kids to pet, hold and feed and the best of all - the tractor ride - still makes my two laugh out loud
I'm up for NCAR visit!

Will it be a weekday that you travel to NCAR? If it's a weekend then I can go...and drive if anyone needs a lift.

I think weekends at the moment would be best for me too, unless we're away. Camping season in full swing and all that and possibly a foster doggie coming soon However I can work round whenever suits everyone else

Its pretty much open to suggestions but I do need to run it by my friend who wants to get a dog.
Vicky it's Michelle (with Tinker) by the way.
I've PMd Starr (NCAR's Online Rep) and I think it'll be easier if we work around them too.
My car is full but I know that Nicky (Nyxy) wants to go so I'm sure she'll be happy for the lift Thats a lovely offer.

If anyone else wants to go from this area and surrounding,I will have "lift space". NCAR is only 15 mins by car from me

Oooh I'm so excited!!
If you wanna go on a weekend, I'm stuck this weekend and next so would have to be either the 20/21st or 27/28th. If its decided on a weekday then I can't do Mons, Weds or Thurs
